MEMBERS & OUR FORUM

WeCiE grew of the need for a safe and interactive virtual space where people could form connections and exchange, discuss ideas, post questions and share their knowledge, visions, and solutions with others. Often invisibilized and less heard, this forum is driven by the voices of women of colour, whose decades of knowledge, experiences, and solutions required a platform for exchange, sharing, recognition, and a collective way to elevate women of color contributions and leadership propelling the Gender Based Violence in Emergencies field forward - with and for all of us.  Whether you have been in this work for decades, or our brand new to our field - welcome to Women of Colour in Emergencies.

This forum is your safe space. Go ahead and post away. We only have one rule : Be kind and tolerant.

BE KIND AND TOLERANT

This is your safe space. We have one rule - please be tolerant and kind. We all come from different feminist perspectives, places and cultures. A strong network is one that can hold divergent views and disagreements without splintering. Let's aim for that.

WHAT GETS YOU BLOCKED?

As long as we are respectful to each other, take time to listen, even when we disagree; and all work hard to be non discriminatory, no one will hopefully have to be blocked from the forum.
